People who help us

This week in Willow we have been reading the book ‘Zog’ by Julia Donaldson and thinking about all the people who help us. The children have been sharing stories with each other about their families and friends, about doctors and nurses they have visited and other important people who continue to help them. The children have produced some excellent writing and we have been very pleased with their ideas and efforts. This Wednesday we walked around the school grounds looking at all  the different signs of Spring. We found buds and shoots, birds nests and minibeasts. The children loved talking about the seasonal change in their environment. We would really like to venture further into the Lambley Dumbles but need the support of parent helpers to be able to do this. If you are able to offer an hour of your time on a Wednesday morning after the half term holiday please come and let us know we would be thrilled to have your company. Next week is our class trip to Rushcliffe Country Park we are all very excited and have our fingers crossed for good weather.  Our word of the week this week is ‘challenged’.
