Our first week back!
Welcome back after a fabulous 2 week break! Shame the weather wasn’t great in Nottingham but at least we have nice weather now to enjoy! This week has been our first week on our Volcanoes topic. We launched our topic by mixing liquids and salt together to make a volcanic eruption in preparation for when we have formed our Modroc volcanoes. We have made some lovely firework pictures which we are looking forward to showing you during our class assembly next month. We have started to think about the text ‘The Firework Makers Daughter’ and predict what we think will happen. We will start reading our text next week. We will also be looking at how volcanoes are formed and where in the world we can find volcanoes.
Our word of week for next week is ‘Eruption’
